The Art of Selling
A lot of new entrepreneurs struggle with selling. They do not understand it, they are afraid of the whole process and even think that is an oily part of the whole process of having a business... but is it?
Despite the bad rap that selling has, is an art that we practice each and every day. We do it when we are negotiating with our kids, when we are persuading our friends, family members and coworker and we are trying to obtain a desired outcome. We do not call it selling but that is exactly what we are doing.
When we are selling and persuading other we don't have to take the role of the despised stereotype of the pushy car salesperson. Instead we should talk in their language and use their own words. Have you ever try to negotiate with a 2 year old? if yes, then you can understand what I mean.
At the end of the day business and selling is all about finding common ground and using common language.
